Prulifloxacin General Information
Prulifloxacin (generic name: prulifloxacin) is an antibiotic.
Prulifloxacin is indicated for treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria in conditions including:
acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (simple cystitis);
complicated lower urinary tract infections;
acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis.
Prulifloxacin Recommendations
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take Prulifloxacin exactly as directed.
The usual recommendations are as follows
Patients with acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (simple cystitis): a single 600-mg tablet is sufficient.
Patients with complicated lower urinary tract infections: a 600-mg tablet once a day up to a 10-day maximum treatment.
Patients with acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis: a 600-mg tablet once a day up to a 10-day maximum treatment.
The tablets should be swallowed whole with water.

Tell your doctor before taking Prulifloxacin, if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you have any serious medical conditions;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
