Mebendazole General Information
Mebendazole (generic name: Mebendazole; brand names include: Ovex / Antiox / Pripsen / Mebex / Wormin) belongs to a group of medicines called anthelmintics.
Mebendazole is used in the treatment of worm infections.
Mebendazole is used to treat:
Common roundworms (ascariasis)
Hookworm infections (uncinariasis)
Pinworms (enterobiasis; oxyuriasis)

Mebendazole can be used to treat more than one worm infection at a time.
