Elyzol (generic name: metronidazole / chlorhexidine) gel is a dental gel used for treating bacterial infections in the mouth.
Indications include:
mouth ulcer (aphthous ulcer)
gingivitis
periodontal infections
Elyzol contains:
Metronidazole 10 mg
Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution IP 0.25%w/w

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Use your medicine exactly as directed.
Dab a small amount of gel directly on the ulcer in the mouth and keep it pressed for 10 minutes. Rinse the mouth with water.
